Dr. Rogers is a Forensic Psychology professor at University of North Texas Denton, where he has been working since 1991. Previously, he has worked at The maximum security Chester Mental Health Center, the Psychiatry Department at Rush Medical School, and the Clarke Institute of Psychiatry at the University of Toronto, where he researched malingering. Later, he studied competency to stand trial evaluations, and co-authored Evidence of Competency to Stand Trial - Revised (ECST-R) and Structured Interview of Repeated Symptoms 2nd Edition (SIRS-2). In 2012, he published The Standardized Assessment of Miranda Abilities (SAMA).
Dr. Rogers has a Bachelor Degree in Education of English Literature from Worcester State College, a Master Degree in Counseling Psychology from Assumption College, and a Doctor Degree in Clinical-Counseling Psychology from Utah State University.
